Sookshmadarshini OTT partner: Nazriya Nazim Fahadh, Basil Joseph’s film to stream on THIS platform?

Sookshmadarshini, the recent Malayalam film that features Nazriya Nazim Fahadh and Basil Joseph in the lead roles, earned immense love from both the audiences and critics. The black comedy mystery thriller, directed by MC Jithin, earned superhit status at the box office. After a successful theatrical run, Sookshmadarshini is now gearing up for a grand OTT release soon. The OTT rights of Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph’s film have been bagged by Zee5.

Sookshmadarshini OTT partner revealed

If the recent updates are to be believed, Sookshmadarshini is gearing up for an OTT release, by the beginning of January 2025. According to the reports, the OTT streaming rights of Nazriya Nazim Fahadh and Basil Joseph’s much-loved film have been bagged by the popular streaming platform Zee5 for a whopping price. However, both the makers of the MC Jithin directorial, and the OTT platform have not officially announced the new update, yet.

The new updates also suggest that the Sookshmadarshini satellite rights are also sold. The satellite rights of the black comedy mystery thriller have been bagged by Zee Keralam. If things go as planned, the Nazriya Nazim Fahadh and Basil Joseph starrer might have its world television premiere by the first quarter of 2025. More updates on the same are expected to be out soon.

All about Sookshmadarshini

The MC Jithin, which is set in a suburban neighbourhood, revolves around the life of Priyadarshini aka Priya, a young woman who lives with her loving husband Antony and their little daughter. Priya, known for her extremely curious nature, finds her new neighbour Manuel’s actions shady. She begins an investigation with her friends and uncovers some dark truths. Nazriya Nazim plays the role of Priyadarshini in Sookshmadarshini, which stars Basil Joseph in the role of Manuel.

Deepak Parambol appears as Priyadarshini’s husband Antony in the film, which features Sidharth Bharathan, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Manohari Joy, and others in the supporting roles. Sookshmadarshini is jointly scripted by Athul Ramachandran and Libin TB. Christo Xavier composed the songs and the original score, for the film. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. Chaman Chakko handled the editing.
