The boutique agency YRF Talent will manage Sonam Kapoor Ahuja from now on. The team will now focus on developing 'Brand Sonam Kapoor' locally and globally. In the past, they have managed amazing stars like Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, etc.
Sonam is the first female actor that YRF has signed who they did not initially launch. Sharvari and Ahaan Panday are only two of the up-and-coming actors that YRF Talent is currently representing.
Sonam will make her comeback with two major projects, the specifics of which are being kept under wraps for the time being. The actor's appeal spans generations because of her genuineness. Sonam is an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and has never been shy about speaking out on key social concerns. She is also often regarded as the most influential figure in Indian popular culture, having significantly altered the country's fashion scene.
As an independent-minded working mother, YRF Talent will work closely with Sonam to develop a brand identity that represents all that is cool about her, from the films she chooses to star in to the natural synergy she shares with the largest global fashion and luxury brands. Sonam has always been an advocate for women's empowerment and equality in the workplace.
Talent and Communications Strategy Vice President Prithwish Ganguly has spoken out to confirm the news, adding that it is exciting to join forces with Sonam as she plots her return to the movies. Brands don't get much fresher than Sonam. They are ecstatic to have her on board as an artist whose worldwide brand strategy they will be curating under their management.
Sonam starred in the Yash Raj Films production Bewakoofiyaan in 2014. In the Nupur Asthana-directed film, the actor appeared alongside Rishi Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana. Her last outing as the leading lady was The Zoya Factor, which was released in 2019.
The next movie starring Sonam will be Blind, which Sujoy Ghosh is producing and Shome Makhija is directing.
