Sonali Bendre and Karisma Kapoor recreate THIS hit track from Sooraj R. Barjatya’s Hum Saath-Saath Hain

The day and date of 5 November, 1999 saw the release of the ace filmmaker Sooraj R. Barjatya’s multi starrer film ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’. The film starred an ensemble cast that comprised of Salman Khan, Mohnish Bahl, Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam Kothari, Sonali Bendre, Karisma Kapoor as the principal cast. Just like Sooraj R. Barjatya’s previous films, the film ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’ boasted of not just a clean family film, but also pleasing music, which were chartbusters of not just that time, but even till today.

For those in the know, will know that the film had hit tracks including ‘Ye toh sach hai ke Bhagwan hai’, ‘Sunoji dulhan ek bat sunoji’ and ‘Mhare hiwra main nache mor’. Speaking of the track ‘Mhare hiwra main nache mor’, the song was ‘just-about’ recreated by the two evergreen heroines of the film. No prizes for guessing as to who are we referring to. We are indeed talking about the graceful Sonali Bendre and Karisma Kapoor. In a recent episode of the dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’, where Sonali Bendre was one of the judges, Karisma Kapoor had come as a celebrity guest.

Needless to say, when Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre met, they went onto recreate the hit track ‘Mhare hiwra main nache mor’ from the film ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’. Sonali Bendre, then took to social media and posted the dance clip of her dancing with Karisma Kapoor to the said track. Sonali Bendre, then, captioned the post stating, “Had to remake this one… Reminiscing the g(old) time! Missed you Tabu and Neelam Kothari. As a reply to the said post, Karisma Kapoor replied, “We missed Tabu and Neelam Kothari”.

This was followed by an army of fans commenting about how beautiful and gracious were the two ladies Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre looking, even after so many years after the film’s release. Many even commented about how they adore both Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre.
