Story:

Jin-woo is a hunter trying to make a living at the risk of his life. He has no option but to stay alive and level up while fighting monsters most humans cannot.

Review:

Solo Leveling season 2 sees a new side of Jin-woo. It begins with him showing his opposite sides in daily life - lazy to classy. Sharing a cute moment, the story progressed to Jin-woo's bond with his sister, Jin-ah.

The only female from the group, Cha Hae-in, is back, and she's sassier this time around. Like the last season, there are hints of their romance. He is seen behaving differently with her, which is noticeable.

Dung-soo is here, and he proves to be the antagonist this time around. He starts a war, and that is one scene you don't wish to miss.

The first quest is here, and it sure is a winter special. The one thing we didn't explore last season is here - fighting on ice.

In a sense, Jin-woo is back to where he began, but it is more challenging. We're talking about the enemies being similar to Goblins.

Kim Chul, the leader of the strike team, leaves you intrigued, especially because of the first season. And all paths lead to it.

Jin-woo getting shadows to fight for him is the real level-up from season 1. The background track simply adds to the polar bear scene. Needless to say, it gets better from there.

Of course, there's a track which is to take revenge on Dong-wook's death at the hands of Jinwoo. This sets the foundation for what is to come in the second season, which is a lot more tense situations.

With his increased vitality and strategy, Jin-woo continues to impress even in season 2. This time, we're introduced to his big competition, Sillad (voiced in Hindi by Rana Dagubatti). This character is just introduced, and there's a lot more waiting to be explored when it comes to it. Through the two seasons, though, it looks promising.

Verdict:

Solo Leveling stays true to its name and better. The anime has leveled up in the sense of Jin-woo's powers while also giving him the equivalent characters from when he was introduced as a hunter. Now, with more power and competitors who can actually challenge him in his current stage, Solo Leveling shows promise with season 2. Needless to say, the action and graphics work best in this season.
