Sobhita Dhulipala: Made In Heaven season 2 will see Tara’s coming-of-age

Sobhita Dhulipala has made a big revelation about her Made In Heaven character, Tara. She revealed that the woman she plays on screen will have a major transformation in the second season. Sobhita calls it her ‘coming-of-age.’

During the trailer launch of Zoya Akhtar’s show at an event held in Mumbai, Sobhita opened up about playing the character again after years. She remembered all the roles that Tara played in her life ranging from wife to daughter. At the same time, Sobhita explained that Tara will be going through a major transformation too.

“I had the pleasure to play a woman like Tara. In the second season, while she continues to fulfil her role as a daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and business partner, while she continues to fulfil these roles to her capacity, I do feel that she’s up for a major identity transformation. That journey is what we’re going to see in season 2. It’s her coming-of-age – coming of her own in a new capacity and role. That’s really thrilling,” she spilled at the launch.

Made In Heaven features Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead role with Arjun Mathur. The series unveils some deep secrets that the two wedding planners keep hidden well.

On the work front, Sobhita was last seen in The Night Manager season 2. She was paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The OTT series received massive love, almost as much as Made In Heaven.

Sobhita now has Sitara and the American film Monkey Man in her kitty. The film marks Dev Patel’s directorial debut and will release directly on Netflix.
