Earlier this year, Prime Video unveiled its new content slate, and one of them is the web series Snakes & Ladders. The Tamil series is set to stream from October 18 onwards, and will also be available in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi dubbed versions.

Snakes & Ladders is an upcoming Tamil web series that is soon to stream on Prime Video. It will premiere on October 18 and will be available in 5 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Curated by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kalyan Subramanian (A Stone Bench Production), the series has Kamala Alchemis and Dhivakar Kamal as creators. Snakes & Ladders is directed by Ashok Veerappan, Bharath Muralidharan, and Kamala Alchemis.
Snakes & Ladders will feature Naveen Chandra, Nandha, Manoj Bharathiraja, Muthukumar, Srinda, Sreejith Ravi, Samrith, Surya Ragaveshwar, Suryakumar, Tarun, and Sasha Bharen in pivotal roles. Billed to be the first dark-humour thriller in Tamil on Prime Video, it will consist of nine episodes.
Snakes & Ladders plot
The series is set against the backdrop of the mid-2000s. Snakes & Ladders revolves around four school friends who find themselves inadvertently entangled in a conundrum. As they navigate various challenging situations and personal struggles, leaving inevitable trails, and making questionable choices along the way, their journey ultimately leads them on an unexpected path of self-discovery.
The trailer of the series was recently released by the makers. The trailer reveals that the film is set in the hilly town of Rettamugadu, with a group of young boys embarking on an adventure. Soon the mood of the trailer changes to more intense, as these boys come across a dollar that seems to be more valuable than what it seems. We see a group after the dollar, and with the boys in possession of it, looks like it will be a cat-and-mouse chase.
