Slough House returns! Slow Horses Season 5 renewed by AppleTV, while Season 4 heats up

Season 5 renewal

However, the fourth season is yet to be released, and AppleTV+ surprised fans with an early renewal for a fifth season of the critically acclaimed espionage drama. This unexpected announcement suggests the streamer's confidence in the series' future and its potential to captivate audiences for even longer.

What to expect in Season 5?

In the fifth season, Slow Horses is expected to show Roddy surprising everyone with a fancy new girlfriend. Things get weird in the city, with strange happenings popping up everywhere. Now it's up to the misfit spies of Slough House to figure out what's going on and how it all connects.

According to US media, the director for the fifth season has not been announced yet. The series has garnered so many viewerships since 2022 that AppleTV+ is not giving them a single chance to stay hooked.

Season 4 release

Last year, showrunner Will Smith hinted that the fourth season of Slow Horses would have a Fall 2024 release. This delay allows the excitement of the third season to cool down, building anticipation for the next chapter in the Slough House saga.
