It turns out that Sleeping Dogs has now joined this list. The Russell Crowe and Karen Gillan starrer is a fresh release that is landing on the app after hitting the big screens in April 2024. As per the listings, Sleeping Dogs will now release on Lionsgate Play in India after wrapping its theatrical run. There is no release date attached to the project yet, but it is likely that the film will hit the streaming platform in August. Director Adam Cooper, while talking about directing Russell Crowe in Sleeping Dogs, said, "I'm very, very grateful that working with an actor of Russell's caliber was my first experience. He's a total pro. My job in a lot of ways was just to get out of the way because you turn the camera on, and it is a gift, every single take. So it was incredible. I mean, I got to spend basically six weeks in Melbourne, Australia with him. He's one of my cinematic idols. So to get to do that was just awesome."
