Sky Force is gearing up for a grand promotional song shoot featuring Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and debutant Veer Pahariya.

Akshay Kumar's patriotic drama Sky Force will hit theatres on January 24, 2025. But next week, Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur will film a grandiose promotional number before bringing their first feature film as directors to theatres. As per reports in Mid Day, Akshay, Nimrat Kaur, and Veer Pahariya—who makes his acting debut in the film—will spend four days in Mussoorie shooting. Rumours of an A-list actor joining them have fuelled speculation about a cameo.
Grand promotional song in Mussourie
According to an insider close to the Dinesh Vijan production, they have inserted the song as part of the film's marketing campaign. They aim to create an artistic and musical spectacle that resonates with the target audience before the film's January 24 release. Although filming won't start until December 18, preparations start far earlier. The creative producer, Amar Kaushik, and the directing duo plan to start pre-production this week. According to the source, the song's setting features some of Mussoorie's most scenic spots.

Earlier, a source told Pinkvilla that Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and the rest of the crew believe Sky Force is the perfect film to release on Republic Day. It's patriotic, emotionally charged, dramatic, and action-packed. Impressively, the film takes place during India's first-ever airstrike on Pakistan.
Trailer to drop during Christmas
The source added that the film captures the emotions of India's first surgical strike to perfection and features amazing aerial shots. Fans will be pleasantly surprised by the portrayal of the Khiladi on screen and by the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya.
Maddock has promised to release the theatrical trailer around the 2024 Christmas season, even though the film doesn't come out until January 24, 2025. The report suggests that the campaign will span a month, with the trailer as a powerful introduction to Sky Force.
The first film Akshay will release in 2025, Sky Force, supposedly explores the 1965 Indo-Pakistan war and India's first airstrike.
