Akshay Kumar's awaited return to the big screen is almost upon us with the release of Sky Force. Taking viewers on an exciting journey through the skies, this endeavour recounts the unknown narrative of India's first and deadliest airstrike. The film will release in theatres on January 24, 2025, offering fans an exciting start to the New Year.
The official poster of Sky Force has already sparked excitement. Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, both dressed like Air Force officers, stand out in the poster. The medals on Khiladi's pilot's cap, emanating authority, symbolise the characters' accomplishments. Veer Pahariya, who is fresh to the scene, wears aviator sunglasses and adds a youthful vitality to the picture. Smoke trails separate the two main figures as a fighter jet roars upwards amid clouds of golden hues in the middle. The silhouettes of Akshay and Veer, as they make their way toward their plane, encapsulate the ideas of courage and companionship. "Some missions end; others last a lifetime," goes the tagline, stressing the story's historical and emotional significance.
The ensemble of Sky Force is the brainchild of directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar, and Veer Pahariya—who will be making his big screen debut—form the ensemble, with Akshay Kumar at the helm. Fans may get a taste of the film's nail-biting drama and thrilling action scenes in tomorrow's trailer.
Santha Kumar's cinematography and Tanishk Bagchi's music promise to elevate Sky Force to a visually stunning film. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik produce it under Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
The film presents an emotionally charged narrative set against the backdrop of Indian Air Force operations, highlighting a period of bravery and sacrifice. Set January 24, 2025, as the date to mark your calendars for Sky Force.
