Sky Force box office day 4 prediction: After what felt like a drought phase, Akshay Kumar rejoices over a strong opening for his movie Sky Force, now on the big screen. Debutant Veer Pahariya has a solid reason to celebrate too, as his maiden film is making numbers that many recent releases failed to achieve. At the box office, the film, which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, emerged as a clear winner over the first weekend, even with competition from Emergency and Azaad. Though not strong, the competition was enough to divert some collections, yet Sky Force prevailed. However, the real test begins now. Sky Force has turned out to be a boon for the stars, opening to a collection of over Rs 70 crore at the Indian box office in its opening weekend. On its first day, the film earned Rs 12.25 crore, slightly less than the average for a film of this size. However, Saturday saw an incredible 80% rise, minting Rs 22 crore, more than making up for the slower start. The film closed its opening weekend with a solid domestic net total of Rs 61.75 crore, as reported by Sacnilk, including an additional Rs 27.50 crore collected on Sunday.

Now, the movie enters its first Monday, which will serve as the litmus test. Releasing on January 24, the film benefited from the mileage of the January 26 public holiday for Republic Day, though that coincided with Sunday, which could be a drawback. It remains to be seen if the movie will maintain its momentum during the weekdays, with Monday setting the pace.
