The 1965 Indo-Pakistani air battle, in which India attacked Pakistan's Sargodha airfield, is the inspiration for the film Sky Force, which was produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik of Maddock Films. The film's official announcement and production start dates are both in 2023. The makers completed the production by 2024.

Veer Pahariya on his debut role

Veer, who made his debut in the film, while speaking to ANI about it, stated that he thinks it is a very personal story, and this narrative is deeply relatable. It all comes down to family and the theme is brotherhood, while loyalty and friendship are at the heart of everything. That is why he thinks this film is so educational and why everyone should see it. His portrayal of the late Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya is a grave one, and he says as much.

Akshay told HT City when asked about his work in patriotic films that he feels incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to portray so many characters. The actor got to portray Krishna and Shiva, thanks to God's kindness. He asked what else he needs and if he should pass up this wonderful opportunity just because some people say, "Aap deshbakhti ki film kyon karte ho?’ Kyon na kare! (Why do you do patriotic films? Why shouldn't I?)

Sky Force doesn't have much tough competition this week at the box office.
