Skanda OTT release date: When and where to watch the Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela action drama

Skanda was a special film for hero Ram Pothineni, as he teamed up with mass director Boyapati Sreenu for the first time in his career. The action drama was released on September 28, 2023, on a grand note and we at OTTplay have already reported that Hotstar has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. 

Well, after keeping the fans waiting, Hotstar has finally announced the release date. As per the update, Skanda will stream on Hotstar starting November 2, 2023. The film was supposed to be released last week but was postponed for reasons unknown.

Well, the date is out and the fans are happy that they can watch the film yet again on the small screen. Thaman has scored the music for Skanda. Not many know that Hotstar paid a whopping price to bag the rights to the film. It is the highest-ever price in the career of Ram Pothineni.

The film opened on a strong note on day one but fell flat at the box office later. But the routine presentation and over-the-top action did not go well with the regular audience and the film tanked at the box office. Sreeleela played the female lead in this film, which was produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi. 

The satellite rights of Skanda have been bagged by Star Maa and the TV premiere of Skanda will happen in the second week of November 2023, as per the news. Ram Pothineni's sincere performance has been appreciated by the fans but the film in general has been a disappointment for the general audience.
