We had earlier reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan will be collaborating with director AR Murugadoss. While we are yet to receive an update about the film, reports have speculated the film has got a new title for the project which has been called SK 23. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made by the makers.

Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss are teaming up for their first film together. The film has gone on floors and is in production at present. Now, as per new reports, the film, which is so far called SK 23, will be called Singa Nadai. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made by the makers.
The film, which is touted to be an action thriller, has Rukmini Vasanth play the female lead. The film will mark the Kannada actor’s debut in the Tamil film industry. The makers have been updating the fans with new announcements on the cast. So far, Vidyut Jammwal, who had paired up with Murugadoss in Thuppaki, will be returning as the antagonist of the film.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini and Vidyut, the film will also star actors Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal and others. SK 23 will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to be a mass entertainer. Sivakarthikeyan had earlier revealed that the film will give him more scope to perform. The shooting of the film began in February. A release date for SK 23 is yet to be announced. SK 23 is shot by cinematographer Sudeep Elamon with Sreekar Prasad as the editor.
Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Ayalaan, which released for Pongal in January. The film is currently available for streaming on SunNXT. The actor will be next seen in Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Co-starring Sai Pallavi, the film is backed by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International and is a biopic of Mukund Varadarajan.
