A few weeks ago, the official launch video of SK 21 (tentative title) was unveiled from the social media handle of Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International which is producing the film. Rajkumar Periasamy is helming the project which has Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi playing lead roles in it.
Siva took to Twitter a while ago to inform that he will be off the social media platform for sometime as he will be busy with the movie. However, a few stills of the actor posing for photos with a few people have been doing the rounds.
All the pics have the actor wearing a cap which has left his fans curious. While a few reports suggest that this will be his appearance for SK 21, some sources say that he has been purposefully doing it to cover his hairstyle. He also seems to have gained a few kilos.
The project's shooting is said to be happening in Kashmir currently. Though there is speculation of Siva essaying the role of an army man in the big budget flick, it looks like cinephiles have to wait until some solid clues appear. The film was announced more than a year ago.
Siva's next outing is Maaveeran; the Madonne Ashwin directorial will hit screens on July 14. He also has the much-awaited sci-fi flick Ayalaan aiming for Deepavali release this year. The Ramkumar directorial has been in the making for a while.
It will be the second Deepavali outing for the actor in his career after Prince which was released last year. Ayalaan is likely to clash with Karthi's Japan and SJ Suryah, Raghava Lawrence's Jigarthanda Double X.
