SK 21: Sivakarthikeyan shares a pic with Rajkumar Periasamy, expresses excitement over THIS reason

Sivakarthikeyan's SK 21 (tentative title) with Rajkumar Periasamy is one of the most-awaited Tamil movies. Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India are jointly bankrolling the project which is expected to commence soon in Kashmir.

We hear that the actor has undergone training for the film which has him playing a soldier's role. Tipped as a period flick, Sai Pallavi has been roped in to essay the female lead. GV Prakash is said to have bagged the opportunity to score music for the project which is likely to hit the screens in 2024.

Siva has now taken to his social media page to post a couple of pictures along with Rajkumar. The duo is all smiles and fans of the former are excited to see him gearing up for his new journey. He tweeted, " A wiseman once said, Make friends who force you to level up (sic)."

This has escalated hopes on the untitled movie which is considered as an ambitious and a large scale project. The film's announcement was made more than a year ago, which took everyone by surprise then.

SK 21 is one among the three projects Kamal's RKFI has announced. Apart from this, the leading production house will bankroll Silambarasan's STR 48 and a project which was supposed to have Udhayanidhi in the lead. The latter might be headlined by Vijay Sethupathi as Udhayanidhi has taken a plunge into active politics a few months ago.

Meanwhile, fans of Shiva who were disappointed with Prince last year, have pinned hopes on sci-fi flick Ayalaan which is expected to hit the screens this Deepavali.
