Sivakarthikeyan to play an army man in SK 21

SK 21 had a promising start earlier this year, with Kamal Haasan announcing the project. The Thug Life actor is not only the face of the movie but is also producing it, alongside R Mahendran, under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing the film’s music, with Kalaivanan R serving as the editor. Ch Sai is the cinematographer and Amrita Ram (Kamal’s personal stylist) is the costume designer. Stefan Richter, known for his work in Bollywood, will be overseeing the action direction.

Touted to be a war film, SK 21 is likely to have a strong patriotic theme. There was apparently a two-month shooting schedule in Kashmir. Sivakarthikeyan will be seen as an army man for the first time in his career.

Sai Pallavi’s upcoming projects

The Premam actress - who was last seen in the critically acclaimed film Gargi, helmed by Gautha Ramavahandran - will be next seen opposite Naga Chaitanya in Thandel. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the movie is touted to be a rustic village drama. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in it, and she will be seen in a powerful role in this movie. Special workshops were arranged for the team a few days ago. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, along with key cast members, attended these workshops in Hyderabad.
