'Red, White & Royal Blue' adaption on Prime Video announces release date

The upcoming queer Prime Video series Red, White & Royal Blue has announced its release date. The film is an adaptation of the best settling novel by Casey McQuiston, and it tells the story of the unexpected relationship between Alex and Henry – sons of powerful global political figures. Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine essay the lead roles in the film helmed by Matthew Lopez. Red, White & Royal Blue will premiere on  Amazon Prime Video on August 11, 2023.

Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen to star in Prime Video's revenge thriller series 'Wilderness'

Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen are set to star in the upcoming Prime Video revenge thriller series, Wilderness. The story revolves around a couple whose relationship becomes strained after a heartbreaking betrayal. Things take a turn for the worse as they run into another couple, resulting in unexpected and violent outcomes. Ashley Benson and Eric Balfour also essay prominent roles in the series based on B. E. Jones’ eponymous novel. Wilderness will premiere on Prime Video in 2023.

'Migration' helmed by 'The White Lotus' creator announces release date

Illumination, the studio behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie has announced the release date of their next animated feature film, Migration. The film stars Kumail Nanjiani and Elizabeth Banks in lead roles, while Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell, and Danny DeVito among others essay prominent roles. The plot revolves around a family of ducks migrating to the South for the Winter who inexplicably end up in New York instead. The film is directed by Benjamin Renner, who is best known for The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales, and Ernest & Celestine. Migration is set to release in theatres on December 22, 2023.

'Pet Sematary' prequel film announces its official title and release date

The prequel film to Stephen King’s iconic novel Pet Sematary has finally revealed its official title. The novel was adapted in 1989 and later in 2019, and the new Lindsey Beer directorial will be set before the events of the novel and its film adaptations. Legendary TV actor David Duchovny, best known for his starring roles in The X-Files and Californication essays the lead role in the film. Titled, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, the film is scheduled to release on October 6, 2023.

Kenneth Branagh to helm live-action adaptation of 'Gargoyles'

Acclaimed actor and filmmaker, Kenneth Branagh, has been roped in to direct the live-action adaptation of the iconic animated series Gargoyles. The development of the adaptation had been stalled for several years, but it appears Disney has finally decided to begin production. The original series starred Keith David, Jonathan Frakes, and Ed Asner among others in prominent roles, and it revolves around a clan of Gargoyles from the Scottish Highlands during the 10th Century. They become frozen in time for centuries and brought back to life in modern-day Manhattan, struggling to adjust to their new surroundings. Further details about the project have been kept under wraps. Branagh will be next seen in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd to play lead roles in A24's ‘Death of a Unicorn’

Wednesday star Jenna Ortega and Hollywood veteran Paul Rudd have been cast as a father-daughter duo for a new feature film. Titled, Death of a Unicorn, the film revolves around the pair who accidentally crash into a unicorn while driving. The film is produced by A24, the studio behind acclaimed films such as Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Green Knight, and Moonlight. It is helmed by Alex Scharfman, but further details about the film have not been revealed.

Keerthy Suresh to make Bollywood debut in Atlee's film opposite Varun Dhawan

Tamil actress Keerthy Suresh is set to make her Bollywood debut according to reports. The actress will reportedly star opposite Varun Dhawan, and Jawaan director Atlee will serve as co-producer along with Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani. The film will be helmed by Kee director Kalees. It is expected to begin filming next month and is scheduled to release in May 2024.
