Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, starring Silambarasan in the lead, has been garnering impressive reviews from critics and movie lovers. The gangster flick, which was released on September 15, grossed more than 50 crores in the first four days of its release, leaving fans of Silambarasan elated.
Leading Tamil stars like Suriya, Karthi and Sivakarthikeyan wished success to the team on the day of its release from their respective social media handles, and a few other celebs from Kollywood appreciated the movie post its release. It looks like one notable celebrity has also become a fan of the movie.
Mrunal Thakur, who has won the hearts of movie lovers with her sensational performance in the romantic drama Sita Ramam, is heavily impressed with the Gautham Menon directorial. She took to her Twitter page to express liking for the film. She went on to describe the movie as a "beautiful story" and went gaga over its action scenes and simple songs.

Interestingly, Gautham Menon had played a notable character in Sita Ramam, and no wonder the actress is happy for her co-star. Fans of Silambarasan thanked Mrunal in the comment section. A few of them asked her about the possibilities of making debut in Tamil films, while some others expressed interest to see her in a movie directed by Gautham.
