Jayam Ravi's long-awaited revenge drama Siren, which is yet to make its theatrical debut, will be streaming on a popular streaming platform post its theatrical run. The film, which was supposed to have a theatrical release in December 2023 did not hit the big screen as the film’s release date was postponed indefinitely. Starring Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh, the film’s teaser was released earlier in 2023 and was well received for its intriguing sneak-peek. However, the makers did not drop any further updates after that.
The latest reports suggest that the film’s OTT rights have been bagged by ZEE5 and Siren is expected to be out for streaming from January 26, Republic Day. Though the movie was supposed to have a theatrical release, the makers are yet to announce the official date of release. If the reports are true, the film might have a direct OTT release on ZEE5.
About Siren
Headlined by Jayam Ravi, the teaser of the film suggests that the revenge thriller revolves around an ambulance driver-turned-criminal, awaiting the day of his release from prison. In this movie, Ravi plays the convict, serving time for murder, while Keerthy Suresh dons the role of a cop. Though the teaser did not reveal much details, the sneak peek hints at an action-packed adventure after Jayam Ravi is let out on parole, after 14 years. Comedian Yogi Babu will also be seen in the role of a cop in this film, promising a laugh riot.

Apart from Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh, the movie also features a stellar star cast, including Anupama Parameswaran, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu and Tulasi, to name a few. Music for the film is scored by GV Prakash Kumar. Cinematography is handled by Selva Kumar SK, while the editing is done by Ruben. Dhilip Subbarayan is in charge of the stunt choreography. The film is bankrolled by Sujatha Vijayakumar.
