The first-look poster of Jayam Ravi's upcoming film, Siren is here on the occasion of the actor's birthday today (September 10). The film is directed by debutant Antony Bhagyaraj and Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran play the leading ladies.
Jayam Ravi in a fierce avatar
Going by the first-look poster and video, Jayam Ravi plays an aggressive middle-aged man, who is out for revenge. The actor is also seen sporting salt and pepper hair for his role. In the video, Jayam Ravi's character is seen kicking open the door of a bar and entering inside. He is also seen standing next to a police jeep and wears a handcuff. In yet another avatar, the actor will be seen as a young man.
Taking to his social media handle, Jayam Ravi wrote, "Grateful for your love and supportThank you all especially my incredible fans, my family, #Siren team @antonybhagyaraj, @sujataa_HMM and @theHMMofficial for #SirenPreFace (sic)."
Film moves to post-production stage
Siren is currently in its post production stage. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music, cinematography is by Selva Kumar and editing is by Ruben. The film is bankrolled by Sujatha Vijayakumar.
Jayam Ravi shoots for Genie
Meanwhile Jayam Ravi has begun shooting for Genie, which has three leading ladies, Krithi Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film is directed by Arjunan Jr, a former assistant of Mysskin. Genie is said to be a pan-Indian film, with Ishari Ganesh's Vels International backing the project. AR Rahman is scoring the music. The cinematography is by Mahesh Muthuswami, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav.
Awaiting the release of Iraivan
The Ponniyin Selvan actor is currently awaiting the release of his dark crime thriller Iraivan, which is helmed by Ahmed. The film stars Jayam Ravi, Rahul Bose and Nayanthara. Iraivan is gearing up to hit screens on September 28.
