Arjun Kapoor, who plays the villain in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, has everyone excited with his appearance. Just one photo of him and Ranveer Singh was enough to break the internet. Now, we have learnt about the quirky name he has been given in the film. This does not come as a surprise for two of Rohit’s lead characters are named Simmba and Sooryavanshi. What is Arjun’s name?

According to Bollywood Hungama, Arjun is named Danger Lanka in the movie. A source told the portal that the viewers will understand the reason behind the name once they watch the film.

Arjun, the villain

Arjun started his Bollywood career by playing a villain. He was seen in a negative shade in his debut film Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra. This was followed by playing double role in Aurangzeb. Arjun plays an out-and-out villain for the first time through Singham Again.

His debut in Rohit Shetty cop universe

Singham Again marks Arjun’s debut in the Rohit Shetty cop universe. The film will bring many new faces along with the old ones. The latest entrants in the franchise are Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff, apart from Arjun. While Arjun and Deepika are there for a major part of the film, Tiger will make a cameo in the movie. The climax scene will feature the trio with the original leads, Ajay Devgn as Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan as Lady Singham.

Singham Again is the third installment after Singham and Singham Returns. More recently, the cop universe expanded to the web space with Sidharth Malhotra’s Indian Police Force. Also featuring Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi, the web series released on Amazon Prime Video and was very loved, like most other projects from the franchise.
