With less than a year remaining for the release of Singham Again, it is evident that movie buffs can’t keep calm. To add fuel to the excitement levels, filmmaker Rohit Shetty today unveiled the first glimpse of actor Akshay Kumar as ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi from Singham Again. The timing of this announcement coincided with the second anniversary of Akshay’s iconic movie Sooryavanshi.

On Instagram today, filmmaker Rohit Shetty wrote, “In Singham Again, we are just doing what our fans want us to do! So here it is… Akshay Kumar and a helicopter! As we complete 2 years of Sooryavanshi, VEER SOORYAVANSHI joins the battle with Singham. #SinghamAgain”
With this message, Rohit attached a photo of Akshay from the set of Singham Again. In the photo, Akshay can be seen jumping off the helicopter with all the necessary precautions.
Ajay Devgn also dropped an adorable message for Akshay Kumar which read, “Mana kiya tha phir bhi helicopter se hi aaya mera dost Sooryavanshi #SinghamAgain @akshaykumar @ADFFilms @RSPicturez @jiostudios @RelianceEnt #Cinergy”
Ranveer Singh, too, welcomed Akshay will full energy. On Instagram, he wrote, “THE FEARLESS Veer Sooryavanshi #SinghamAgain @akshaykumar”
Actor Tiger Shroff will also essay a role in Singham Again. He, too, welcomed Akshay Kumar cheerfully in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan style. For the unfamiliar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an upcoming movie featuring Akshay and Tiger.

Singham Again is the sixth installment of the cop universe created by filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Films namely Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi, and the web series ‘Indian Police Force’ are already a part of this franchise.
Singham Again will feature Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. The film is likely to be released on August 15, 2024, at the theatres globally.
