Rohit Shetty is riding high on the success of his recently released movie Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn. The third installment of the Singham franchise clashed with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Both movies were released on November 1, 2024. When Singham Again's trailer was released online, audiences noticed the Ramayana reference in Ajay's cop drama. Rohit has spoken up about the Ramayana angle in his directorial Singham Again.

On The Ranveer Allahbadia Show, Rohit opened up about inculcating the Ramayan angle in his cop drama Singham Again. The filmmaker feels proud to bring Ramayana's legacy to the new generation.
"My relationship with the Ramayana, more than changing, what I feel proud of is what we've done for this generation. We've shown them the actual places where these events took place — including the entire journey through Sri Lanka," he said.
For those who are unaware, Ajay's character Bajirao Singham is shown as modern-day Lord Ram while Kareena Kapoor Khan's character is that of Goddess Sita. As for Arjun Kapoor, his character is inspired by Ravana. The actor's character is named Danger Lanka in Singham Again.
Where to watch Singham Again on OTT?
Meanwhile, Singham Again is currently enjoying a successful run in cinemas. After its theatrical run, the Ajay Devgn-starrer will head for its digital premiere. The movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video. However, the makers are yet to confirm the OTT release of the film.
Besides Ajay, Kareena, and Arjun, the star cast of Singham Again includes Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar and others.
