Singham Again – Rohit Shetty drops BTS footage of his famous car chaos, gives fans a taste of what's to come in the movie

Get ready action fans! Rohit Shetty is back with some ‘dhamakedar’ adventures in Singham Again. This is the third movie of Singham franchise, and the interesting part is, it has got a mind-blowing star-studded cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Jackie Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Rahul Dev.

Rohit Shetty's revelation

Singham Again was announced earlier in 2023, and since then, it's been making huge headlines on the internet. Yes, the love for the Singham franchise is getting bigger and bigger each day! And to excite fans more, director Rohit Shetty has dropped some thrilling behind-the-scenes shots from the movie. While wishing fans on Makar Sankranti, he teased fans on Instagram by writing, “Aap log patang udaayiye aur mein…I love my job…Action…Night shoots…Hyderabad…#SinghamAgain.”

About the behind-the-scene footage

In the video, we get to see Shetty doing some explosive car crashing stunts on his own. It's no surprise, he is not just an amazing director, but also an incredible stuntman! Shooting a car crash into pieces and then catching fire so close is not a joke! The 49-year-old director is truly one of a kind to do such stunts, and also capture it on camera.

Singham Again story

In Singham Again, Ajay Devgan plays a powerful and honest police officer, who throws punches and takes down a bad company that's dumping dangerous medical waste in India. People in town thought it was some strange thing happening, but it turns out this waste was actually coming from other countries and being buried here.

About Rohit Shetty's other high voltage collaborations

This is the second time Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have collaborated with Rohit Shetty all together. Previously they have worked in Sooryavanshi (2021), which is also another action genre movie, and there also Akshay Kumar played the powerful police officer role. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Sooryavanshi collected Rs. 295 Crore at the box office. It marked the highest grossing Hindi movie in 2021, after the devastating Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

Rohit Shett's loss with Cirkus

Despite being helmed by Rohit Shetty, his last movie, Cirkus failed to impress at the box office, marking one of the lowest collections for the director. While Ranveer Singh's dual role as a police officer offered some familiarity, it was not enough to rescue the movie’s fortunes. Hence, let's hope for the best for Singham Again, as it's releasing in August 2024 in the theatres.
