Singham Again OTT release date: Ajay Devgn’s cop drama gets a release date on Amazon Prime Video

It’s been a little over a month since the big box office clash euphoria in Bollywood that we all witnessed for a couple of months before Diwali 2024. This year, the release calendars for Diwali had Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 written in block letters over it. So, when the two films were released on the big screen and clashed, there was, of course, a lot of curiosity attached to it. While the Kartik Aaryan-led movie came out as the winner in the clash, the star vehicle led by Ajay Devgn lacked a lot to compete with the Anees Bazmee directorial. However, the cop universe drama did manage to pull off a decent box office collection. It now turns out the cop drama is all set to hit the streaming world, and we already have a date for the same.

Singham Again OTT Release Date

Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and a starry ensemble. The movie released on the big screen on November 1, 2024, this Diwali. The movie has completed 38 days in cinemas, and it turns out the makers are already planning a digital release. The film is all set to hit Amazon Prime Video in the coming week. Read on to learn everything you should know about the same. 

As per the latest listings, Singham Again is all set to hit Amazon Prime Video on December 13, 2024. Yes, this coming Friday will witness the release of the Ajay Devgn-led film on the streaming platform. By the time the movie releases on the platform, it will have been 43 days since its theatrical debut. What is surprising is that the movie does not wait for the usual 90-day window before it hits streaming. You can watch the movie with your regular Prime Video subscription once it goes live on the platform.

Singham Again Plot

Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) is now posted in Kashmir, where he is leading the forces to keep terrorists outside the borders while also saving young men from getting radicalized. During this mission, he comes across an old enemy (Jackie Shroff), who he arrests. However, he now faces a bigger threat in Danger Lanka (Arjun Kapoor—yes, that’s his name in the film). When Danger Lanka kidnaps Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan), the force must unite to rescue Avni and stop him from spreading terrorism across the country.

Rohit Shetty On Singham Again Box Office

According to India Express, Rohit Shetty recently talked about the journey of Singham Again on the big screen and said he has already moved on to his next project. “Yes, we are happy, but our minds have already switched to work mode,” said the filmmaker. When asked if the duo (him and Ajay Devgn) doesn’t believe in celebrating their success, Ajay said, “I don’t think we even get out of the house if not for work or family. That is our chill.”

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s partnership has aged well in the industry, and when asked what they will do with the ₹200 crore earned by Singham Again, Devgn said, “Some films demand a big budget, and we want to invest in such projects. Also, it is not about how much we earned through the film. We are more concerned about the response of the audience, and I see that Singham Again is being loved by everybody. That is the biggest currency. We have now moved on from Singham Again.”
