Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first baby with husband Ranveer Singh is back on the sets of Rohit Shetty's cop film, Singham Again. A picture from the sets where DP can be seen in a police uniform is now doing rounds on the internet. She will be seen playing Shakti Shetty in the film which also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.
With her hair tied in a sleek bun and wearing sunglasses, Deepika looked super cool in her never-before-seen look. However, as she is seen busy in the picture, her baby bump is not visible. Take a look at the viral picture below:
Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty
Rohit Shetty's cop-universe will see a female cop for the first time on the big screens and hence fans are excited to see how Deepika's character will be shaped up in the film. Her character, Shakti Shetty, was introduced in October last year with a poster revealing her look. The caption on the post read: "Introducing...Shakti Shetty! #SinghamAgain." Shetty's cop universe just got bigger and better with Singham Again as it has all the big names from the industry including the OG officer Ajay Devgn, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar. The film will see Arjun Kapoor playing the baddie and Deepika's character is said to be Ajay's sister in the film.
Deepika Padukone's pregnancy post
On the personal front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their pregnancy in February, days after reports of her pregnancy were doing rounds on social media. At the 77th BAFTA Awards, the actress was seen covering her belly section which led to reports of her hiding her pregnancy. However, soon after, the couple announced the big news with a cute social media post, which revealed that her delivery was due in September this year. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate wedding at Lake Como, Italy.
