Several characters are being introduced in Singham Again, making it a very interesting casting coup. After introducing the first look of Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff from the film, the makers have now unveiled the look of Ranveer Singh, who will reprise the role of Simmba from his standalone film and Sooryavanshi. Now, the interesting fact about the poster is that the background gives a hint of his character too.

In the poster, we see the image of Lord Hanuman, and Ranveer is also flexing his muscles, showing their strength. So is Singham Again, the retelling of the Ramayana set against the backdrop of the cop universe? Well, it definitely looks like that.

Star-studded cast and character details
Singham Again stars Deepika in the role of Shakti Shetty, while Tiger will be seen as ACP Satya. The film also features Ajay Devgn, of course, in the titular role, Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi, and Kareena Kapoor Khan reprising her role from Singham Returns.
Earlier, while talking about the film, a source told Bollywood Hungama, "Now, as the superstar is coming back, in Singham Again, people can expect a high dose of action, comedy, and entertainment from his highly anticipated reprise of one of his most famous characters. As always, his one-liners are bound to bring the house down and have the audience in splits."
As per reports, Deepika plays the role of Ajay's sister in the film; thus, we have to wait to know how her character is incorporated in Singham Again and with the references from the mythology of the Ramayana.
Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe continues
After the success of Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty is back with a fifth entry in his cop universe with Singham Again, which is set for release on August 15, 2024. The film is being shot in full swing in Hyderabad.
