Singham Again! Arjun Kapoor turns 'bloodied' nemesis in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe

The reports have finally turned out to be true. It's official that Arjun Kapoor is the main antagonist of Rohit Shetty's "Singham Again," and the actor's first look is out. Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff headlined the film, and the whole cast took to their social media pages to share Arjun's character.

Arjun dons a bloodied avatar and holds a huge knife, appearing to have slaughtered someone. Furthermore, the face-off between two Bollywood "babas," Ranveer and Arjun, will make fans more excited to see the Gunday reunion after many years.

While sharing Arjun's first look, Rohit described his character by stating that a person makes mistakes, and they receive their punishment for them. But what's going on now? That's devilish!

Arjun Kapoor's role in the Cop Universe

The third instalment in the Singham film series, Singham Again, will have Arjun as the antagonist. Earlier, a source told Hindustan Times that he would play the role of the antagonist in the story involving the four supercops—Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi, and Lady Singham. According to one source, Rohit is eagerly anticipating the third part of the franchise and is enthusiastic about the newest addition.

After casting Prakash Raj and Amole Gupte as antagonists in the series, the filmmaker brought Arjun on board to give it a new spin. According to the source, the filmmaker is certain that the actor will bring a fresh perspective that will shock both him and the viewers.

The insider claims that Arjun's dedication to his fitness for a long period was a major factor in Shetty's decision to cast him as the antagonist. 'Singham Again' is already in the works, and Arjun is fully committed to working on it with Rohit and his crew. The insider promised an exciting, nail-biting thriller.

Singham Returns, the third instalment in the Singham franchise, and Simmba, the fourth in Rohit Shetty's cop universe, will be followed by the upcoming Singham Again, the third instalment in the Singham franchise, and the fifth overall. 

The makers have set a theatrical premiere for this year.
