Singer Armaan Malik has broken his silence over people mistaking him as YouTuber Armaan Malik, currently seen in Bigg Boss OTT 3. Here's what the singer penned on X.

Singer Armaan Malik has issued a statement on social media as people have been confusing him with YouTuber Armaan Malik, who is currently in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. The Indian singer penned a long note and stated that he has no connection to the YouTuber. Armaan added that the YouTuber was earlier named Sandeep. However, after the BB OTT 3 contestant changed his name to Armaan Malik, the singer was mistaken for him.

The 28-year-old singer Armaan Malik took to his official X account and shared a long note. He pointed out that many people have been mistakenly tagging him and assuming that he and the Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant are the same person.
"I want to be very clear: I have NO connection to this individual and do not endorse him or his lifestyle in any way. This situation is hampering my reputation and is turning out to be misleading to so many people who have supported me over the years. While I can't stop someone from changing their name and taking up the same as mine, I do request my own community to help me overcome this (sic)," a part of his note read.

The singer further requested people to stop tagging him in posts about anything related to the YouTuber, now seen in Bigg Boss OTT 3. He also thanked everyone for understanding his concern.

Following this incident, Armaan wasn't evicted from the reality show. Instead, the makers nominated him for the entire season.
