The trailer of Arun Vijay's upcoming murder mystery Sinam was released today. In the trailer, Arun Vijay is seen investigating a murder, which involves a share auto. Though he manages to join the dots, he seem to have many surprises in store. The actor is also seen as a doting husband and father, spending quality time with his family. Just like Arun Vijay's other films, Sinam, too is likely to have a lot of action in store. The film, directed by GNR Kumaravelan, has Pallak Lalwani playing the leading lady. The supporting cast includes Kaali Venkat, RNR Manohar, KSG Venkatesh and Marumalarchi Bharathi. What's interesting is that the trailer doesn't really give away the plot of the film.
Music for Sinam has been composed by Shabir Tabare Alam. While the cinematography is by Gopinath, editing by Rajamohammer. The film is bankrolled by R Vijayakumar under the banner of Movie Slides Pvt Ltd. Sinam will hit screens worldwide on September 16.
Arun Vijay was last seen in the web series Tamil Rockerz, which revolved around the entertainment industry's battle against piracy. The actor was seen as the cop Rudhra, who has absolutely no interest in films, but is roped in to investigate the case. The series marked his debut in web series and his third collaboration with director Arivazhagan after Aarathu Sinam (remake of Jeethu Joseph's Malayalam film, Memories) and Kuttram 23. The web series also had Vani Bhojan, Ishwarya Menon, Azhagam Perumal and Vinodini Vaidyanathan as part of the star cast. The series is streaming on SonyLIV. Arun Vijay also has in hand Borrder, which is also directed by Arivazhagan and Boxer.
