Sikandar Twitter review: Salman Khan’s film gets brutal reception; Netizens say ‘bhai has stopped making any efforts to act’

Sikandar, the Salman Khan-starrer Hindi film hit theatres on Sunday, just in time for Eid. Directed by filmmaker AR Murugadoss, who has given hits like Ghajini and Kaththi, the film stars actor Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. However, despite the star names, the film has seemingly not able to capture the audience, with many giving negative opinions after watching the show.

Sikandar is a 2025 Hindi action thriller directed by filmmaker AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The most-expected film finally hit theatres on Sunday. Starring Salman Khan in the lead titular role, the film features actors Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar and others in prominent roles.

The film hit theatres on March 30, Sunday, for the occasion of Eid. Despite star names, Sikandar has failed to impress the audience. Netizens who watched the film posted their reviews on social media. While one said that Salman Khan's "voice and physique were disappointing" and "story felt repetitive", another person commented that it had a "most senseless scene". After its theatrical run, Sikandar will be available for streaming on Netflix. The OTT release date has not yet been revealed yet. It is to be noted that hours before the film released on Sunday in theatres, Sikandar's pirated version leaked online on Saturday night. Concerned authorities had taken down the film from at least 600 websites, as per reports.

Sikandar's runtime is 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds. The background music is done by Santhosh Narayanan. The choreographers are Farah Khan, Ahmed Khan, Dinesh Master, Brinda. Sikandar follows Salman Khan as Sanjay Rajkot/Sikandar, a man who fights corruption and injustice, inspired by his wife, and becomes a beacon of hope for the underprivileged.
