Sikandar: Teaser for Salman Khan's much-awaited film to release on THIS special date

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. Ever since the announcement, the film has been garnering a lot of attention. Fans are eagerly waiting for new updates. Now, adding more anticipation to the film, a latest report has revealed the teaser release date.

Sikandar teaser release date

Pinkvilla reported that Salman Khan starrer Sikandar's teaser will be released on the superstar's birthday, December 27. The source added, “A special teaser has been cut and is presently being edited for a launch on Salman Khan’s birthday. The audience can expect scale, and action, along with the promise of entertainment with this specially curated Sikandar teaser for SK’s birthday."

The source further added that as Sikandar is one of the most awaited films of 2025, the makers are all set to welcome the new year with a teaser of the film. This would officially kick-start the marketing campaign of the film, leading to an Eid 2025 release in the month of March. 

"Sajid Nadiadwala has devised big plans to present Sikandar to the cinema-going audience, and the flow of assets in 2025 will include songs, and a theatrical trailer,” the source added.

Salman Khan to play dual roles in Sikandar

Dainik Bhaskar earlier reported that Salman Khan is set to play a dual role in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. He will be seen as a businessman in the film. Although his character is shown as a philanthropist and a kind person, he was also a 'Dabangg' in the past. Because of this, Khan's character lives a dual life with the titular character as one of them.

On April 11, 2024, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and announced that Sikandar will be released in Eid 2025. Sharing the poster of the film, Bhaijaan penned, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025.”
