Santhosh Narayan is making his Bollywood debut as a music composer for Salman Khan's Sikandar. Since the teaser of his film was released, fans have appreciated its electrifying BGM. Santhosh is thrilled with the public reception of Sikandar teaser's background music. In a recent interview, he spoke about scoring the music for Khan's film. He further shared his experience working with Salman and AR Murugagoss on the film.
During an interview with Movies Talkies, Santhosh Narayanan said he is incredibly thankful that music has connected with the masses. About composing the score for Sikandar, Santhosh added that he generally tries to align the score and songs closely with the film's script.
Talking about Sikandar specifically, he said, "In Sikandar, Murugadoss sir has brilliantly woven the persona of Salman Khan and the character he is portraying. This has given me the freedom to go epic with the scoring whenever needed. I will make a conscious effort to elevate the mass screen presence of the character played by Salman sir."
He further shared his experience working with Sikandar star Salman. Calling it an absolute privilege, Narayanan added, "Salman sir is consistently motivating and so much fun to work with." Santhosh mentioned that AR Murugadoss is a 'legend' from Tamil Nadu. The composer received specific inputs from the filmmaker on what he needed for the film.
Earlier, while sharing Sikandar's poster on X, Santhosh expressed excitement about his Bollywood debut with Salman Khan-starrer. "This is truly a wild dream being realised .My journey in Bollywood starts tomorrow with our dear Bhaijaan BeingSalmanKhan sir. Proud to score this film. Let’s gooooooo (sic)," his tweet read.
