Sikandar: Salman Khan flaunts intense look as he prepares for A.R. Murugadoss' film; excited fans say 'it will be blockbuster'

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The film has been garnering a lot of attention ever since it was announced. Fans eagerly wait to get new updates regarding the shooting of the film. Now, adding more anticipation into the film, Salman shared a picture of himself where he can be seen preparing for the film.

Salman Khan prepares for Sikandar

On September 24, a while ago, Salman Khan took to his social media accounts and shared a picture of himself. In the snap, the superstar can be seen flaunting his intense look as he is preparing for Sikandar. The actor is sweating at the gym and at the background it is written "Salman Khan in & as Sikandar"

Reacting to the poster, one fan wrote, "It will be blockbuster." Another wrote, "Sikander matlab tufan aane wala hai" A third fan commented, "Ek hi dil h kitni bar jitoge" 

Salman Khan to play dual roles in Sikandar

As per a Dainik Bhaskar report, Salman Khan is set to play a dual role in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. He is a businessman in the film. While his character is shown as a philanthropist and kind-hearted person, he was also a ‘Dabangg’ in the past. This is why, Khan's character lives a dual life with the titular character as one of them.

The report also suggested that the team is gearing up to shoot another grand action sequence on August 22 and for this, 10,000 bullets and pistols were ordered. As per a report by Mid-Day, it will be a 40-day shooting schedule.

The filmmaker is set to entertain the audience with a movie packed with action sequences. However, they will show the lead actor as a kind-hearted person. In the first schedule, the Tiger 3 actor shot a fight scene with the villain's son on a private chartered plane.

Salman Khan announces Sikandar

On April 11, 2024, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and announced that Sikandar will be released in Eid 2025. Sharing the poster of the film, Bhaijaan penned, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025.”
