The makers of Sikandar have signed the beautiful Kajal Aggarwal for an all-important role in the film.

After Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, actress Kajal Aggarwal has now bagged a major role alongside Salman Khan in Sikandar. After sharing the screen space with Ajay Devgn in Singham and Akshay Kumar in Special 26, the actress is all set to join another superstar for one of his most-anticipated films. This will be her first collaboration with the Dabangg star.

If we go by the recent reports, Kajal Aggarwal has already given a nod for the film, however, the details about her character are still under wraps. Besides South stars Rashmika and Kajal, the film also stars Sathyaraj, known for his iconic character of Kattapa in the blockbuster film Baahubali. Pratik Patil Babbar will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in the action entertainer.
It is also to be noted that Kajal Aggarwal will be reuniting with the producer Sajid Nadiadwala after 12 years. The duo earlier worked together in 2012 in the film Thuppakki, starring Vijay.
Earlier, it was reported that Salman Khan will be shooting for a massive action sequence in Mumbai's Goregaon. The massive set will replicate Dharavi at the venue. "A chunk of the film is set against these two backdrops. Over the next fortnight, Salman and Murugadoss will wrap up a significant portion of the actioner. Shooting is on in full swing. The leading man has some elaborate action set pieces that will be shot at the Dharavi set," a source told Mid-Day.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan announced Sikandar in 2024 on the occasion of Eid. Ever since the announcement, the film has garnered all the attention with every detail about the film. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film also marks the first collaboration of the director with Khan. The film is slated to release in theatres during Eid 2025.
