Sikandar Box Office collection day 3: Salman Khan's film slows down post Eid but still closer to Rs 100 crore mark

Salman Khan's Eid release Sikandar still struggles at the Box Office. The movie saw a significant drop of 30% on its first weekday since release. However, Sikandar is still closer to Rs. 100 crore mark, and if it continues earning in the same range, the movie will cross it within the next two days. Nonetheless, this is not Salman's personal best at the Box Office.

Sikandar earns Rs. 74.5 crore within three days

Like we mentioned, this is most definitely not Salman Khan's best performance at the Box Office, but given that the movie released on a Sunday and saw a slight boost on Eid, the numbers do leave some hope. Sikandar saw a dip of 30% and earned Rs. 19.20 crore on day 3, Tuesday. The film had minted Rs. 55 crore by Monday, and thus, the total net Box Office collection for Sikandar currently is Rs. 74.5 crore. The drop was expected and quite normal, even for Sikandar. If Sikandar can mint nearly Rs. 20 crore over the next two days as well, it would enter Rs. 100 crore club, and by Friday, the movie is likely to pick up again, given the current trend.

Why Sikandar might mint Rs. 200 crore despite the drop in Box Office?

Sikandar has been showing positive results even when a lot is working against the movie. Salman Khan fans have been supporting the movie by visiting theatres in evening/night. Yes, the night footfalls were the highest on day 3 as well (in the range of 26-30%). This hints that Bhaijaan's fans do wish to watch the movie and are going the extra mile to do so. The same could help Sikandar enter Rs. 200 crore club by the coming weekend, given how Sikandar is already closer to Rs. 100 crore club in three days. Now, it's just the waiting time that Sikandar crosses Rs. 100 crore. Depending on the same, we would know whether the Salman Khan starrer will sustain over the coming weekend. Of course, Bhaijaan has little to no competition on the big screen, at least for a month.
