Sikandar's advance bookings have commenced across the globe. It being a Salman Khan movie, one would naturally expect the film to work best in India but that is far from the case. The movie appears to have a better response in Europe, particularly in two European Nations.

Find out which nations they are...

Sikandar is working best in Germany and Netherlands

Yes, much to even our surprise, Sikandar is getting a great response not in India but Europe. The two countries which, according the production house, have shown the best response, are Germany and Netherlands. The advance bookings might have just opened but most shows there are already houseful, according to sources associated with the production house.

Sikandar advance bookings open globally

Sikandar is scheduled to release this Sunday i.e. on March 30. However, the advance bookings for the movie are already open. And surprisingly, India is not leading in that, at least yet.

New strategy for Sikandar

There are a lot of firsts for Sikandar. While it is the first time when Salman collaborates with both director AR Murugadoss as well as his female co-star Rashmika Mandanna, the movie has also applied a new strategy. It is the first time when a movie breaks the Friday release rule and not for a Thursday or mid-week release but for a Sunday release. This happens mainly because Salman wanted his movie to be out closer to Eid, which falls on Monday, March 31.

Can Sikandar earn Rs. 200 crore?

If Sikandar were to release on a Friday, the movie would have definitely come closer to Rs. 200 crore club. But, given how it is releasing on Sunday, it is a huge risk because the makers miss out on Jumma (Friday) night and a day of the weekend. However, with a Sunday release, a bumper opening is almost guaranteed for Sikandar. The only question that now remains is, can the opening itself start from Rs. 100 crore-club. Salman Khan definitely hinted at it.

While waiting for Sikandar to release in theatres, you can go back and enjoy Salman Khan's previous Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium. So, what are you waiting for?
