Siju Wilson to play a cop in Jagan Shaji Kailas’ next

Shaji Kailas is known for his actioner and mass masala movies in Malayalam. He had joined hands with most of the superstars and helmed some of the biggest hits in the industry. Now his son, Jagan Shaji Kailas is all set to get behind the camera for a yet- to- be titled film. Touted to be a thriller, Siju Wilson plays the lead role in this film. According to the makers, the actor will essay a cop named Binu Lal in this movie. Actors like Renji Panicker, Kavya Shetty, and Gowri Nandha are also part of this movie.

S Sanjeev, who penned the scripts of Ottu and Nizhal, has scripted Jagan’s investigative thriller. Both Ottu and Nizhal are known for their twists and suspense in the storyline.

Earlier Jagan had announced a film with Asif Ali, bankrolled by his father, Shaji. Asif was all set to undergo a physical makeover for this action movie. Ponniyin Selvan writer B Jeyamohan was supposed to write the script of the movie. He has also written films like Indian 2, 1 by Two, Kaanchi, and Ozhimuri, in which Asif played the main role. Previously Jagan had garnered acclaim for directing a music video of Ahaana Krishna. He also worked as an assistant in the movies Kaapa, Alone, and Kaduva, helmed by his father. 

Meanwhile, Siju wrapped up the shooting of Panchavalsara Padhathi, a movie directed by PG Premlal and written by Sajeev Pazhoor, known for his work in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. Additionally, the actor is gearing up to join forces, once again with the director Vinayan for an upcoming project. Their previous collaboration was the historic period drama Pathonpatham Noottandu in which he played the historic figure, Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker.
