Sidharth Malhotra likely to start his own production house

Siddharth Malhotra is not just a popular actor but also a charming model, fitness freak, and football enthusiast. He began his acting career at the age of 27 with the 2012 film Student Of The Year and since then, there has been no turning back in his career. In August this year, Sidharth starrer Shershaah won the Special Jury Award at the prestigious National Film Award.

As he continues to shine in his decade-long career, here’s another update about his professional life.

According to a report published by the news portal Filmfare today, Sidharth is planning to start his production venture soon.

“As per sources, #SidharthMalhotra is starting his own production house,” read a tweet by the news portal today.

This tweet has been liked by thousands of Twitter users as of now.

Sidharth is yet to respond to the development officially.

Sidharth Malhotra’s Work Front

As of now, the 38-year-old actor is looking forward to Yodha – a film produced by Karan Johar. Yodha, an eagerly anticipated action thriller, is helmed by directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Backed by Dharma Productions, the film boasts a stellar cast featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna. Mark your calendars for the theatrical release of Yodha on December 8, 2023, where it's set to go head-to-head with Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif's film, 'Merry Christmas.'

Later, Siddharth will headline a web series for the first time. It is titled ‘Indian Police Force’ and is directed by visionary filmmaker Rohit Shetty. In the series, Sidharth will play a titular role opposite Shilpa Shetty. The release date of this series is not known yet.

Notably, Yodha will mark the second theatrical film of Sidharth in the year 2023. Prior to this, he featured in a film named ‘Mission Majnu’, which was released in January this year.
