Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani describe their one year of married life with 'horse-riding' adventure

It's been a year since Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani entered marital bliss. In the presence of their loved ones, the couple exchanged vows during a private ceremony in Rajasthan. Now, to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Sidharth and Kiara shared a collaborative post on their Instagram page to wish each other. They are seen enjoying a horse-riding session together in the photo.

Both Sidharth and Kiara are seen color-coordinating  in white outfits while basking in the sun during their romantic anniversary getaway. While sharing the photo, they captioned it, stating that the most important thing is not the trip itself but the people one travels with. They acknowledged each other by sharing that they have been their finest companions on this wild journey they call life, and they are very grateful.

Sidharth's reflections on marriage and Kiara's influence

Talking about the impact of Kiara on Sidharth's life, the actor laid bare during his appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 8. The actor mentioned that he experienced an increase in his sense of responsibility and ability to provide for his wife. For the first several years after moving to Bombay some sixteen years ago, Sidharth stayed with friends, but eventually he moved in on his own. From roommates to flatmates to the one person he has dated, there's clearly a lot of love. Now that he is a life partner, Sidharth feels a greater sense of duty to provide for her, and Kiara inspires him to push himself to his limits.

While they were still talking, Sidharth revealed the formula that has always kept him and Kiara bound. The thing that he finds most refreshing is that both of them prioritise family. Sidharth thanked Kiara and went on to explain that he now has a family in Mumbai. He continued by saying that what unites them is that they are both deeply committed to their families. They were both raised in such a manner. He added that Kiara has a severe disconnection from her Mumbai upbringing. Whatever is going on in the business or behind the scenes doesn't affect her too much; that is great. That is really interesting to Sidharth; she could be doing anything. She manages her fame in a way, maybe even the same way he does. They still enjoy visiting each other's families and spending time together. Thanks to Kiara, Sidharth now has a family in Mumbai, which he never had before.

Sidharth and Kiara worked together for the first time in Shershaah, released in 2021.
