Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who is basking in the success of his latest outing Tillu Square, recently announced the makers are prepping to expand the franchise with its third instalment. While the makers are still working on the new project, Siddhu Jonnalagadda dropped a few interesting titbits about his character from the upcoming instalment, Tillu Cube.
The Tillu Square star revealed his insights into his vision for the titular character’s journey in Tillu Cube. He teased the idea of transforming Tillu into a superhero, dubbed T-Man, adding an exciting twist to the franchise." What if Tillu turns into a superhero in the third part?," the actor quipped. The makers, who have decided to cash in on the success of Tillu Square, are currently in the scripting stage for the third part, as audiences are hyped about Siddhu’s interesting blend of comedy and superhero themes.
Meanwhile, Tillu Square has so far earned a whopping Rs 32 crore in the Telugu states alone within the first three days of its release. Due to lack of competition, the film’s release this month has managed to lure more audiences to the theatres and has been minting record-breaking numbers. The film's worldwide collection stands at more than Rs 55 crore.
Thanks to the highly positive reviews, Tillu Square seemingly holds a very strong position at the box office. Currently, Tillu Square will be the most preferred choice for Telugu audiences in the coming days.
Directed by Mallik Ram, the new crime comedy stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. The film revolves around Tillu as his life is turned upside down following a mysterious murder. (Spoiler alert!) Anupama Parameswaran, who charmed the audience with her killer looks, plays a negative role in the film.
Netflix had earlier announced that Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square will be released on the streaming platform after its theatrical run. The streaming platform announced that the film will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
