Aranmanai 2
The Aranmanai series, written and directed by Sundar C, is one of the popular ones in the horror comedy genre. Siddharth was part of the second instalment of the series. He played Murali, who returns to his ancestral home along with his fiancee (Anitha), who is later possessed by an evil spirit. The film has many edge-of-the-seat moments and ample twists and turns to keep you engaged.
Boys
During the promotions of Takkar, Siddharth had revealed that he had initially refused to be part of the film as he wanted to become a director. But he took the plunge and how. Siddharth became an overnight sensation as Munna in Shankar's coming-of-age-drama. He became known for his good looks and acting skills and his combination with Genelia was such a hit that they delivered yet another blockbuster together, Bommarillu.
Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi
This romantic comedy by Balaji Mohan, which revolves around the many ways to mess up in love, was a smash hit. The film is an extended version of a short film, made by the director. Siddharth and Amala Paul brought the house down with their comic timing and the audience were rest assured that comedy was right up Siddharth's sleeve.

Siddharth teamed up with Shamili (her maiden venture as a leading lady) in this romantic film. He played Uday, a happy-go-lucky guy from a rich background who believes in living life to the fullest. But he undergoes a massive transformation after he falls in love and goes on to fulfill the last wishes of his lady love after she is diagnosed with cancer.
Sivappu Manjal Pachai
In this family drama, helmed by director Sasi, Siddharth played Rajashekar, a strict traffic police officer. He gets married to street racer Madhan's (GV Prakash) sister, whom he has arrested and humiliated in the past. The plot delves into the tension between the brother-in-laws and GV Prakash and Siddharth finally come together for their sister and wife respectively, played by Lijimol Jose.
