After nearly two and a half years, Nani is finally having a theatrical release. The actor, who faced a lot of flak for premiering two of his films V and Tuck Jagadish directly on Amazon Prime Video, will be seen next in Shyam Singha Roy. The film that also stars Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, Madonna Sebastian and Rahul Ravindran in key roles, will hit theatres in December. Shyam Singha Roy is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, known for films like The End and Taxiwaala. Venkat Boyanapalli is producing it under Niharika Entertainment.
Touted to be a reincarnation drama, Shyam Singha Roy wrapped its shoot a few months ago and is currently in the last leg of its post-production phase. The film is high on VFX and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a quality product. After unveiling the posters of its lead characters, the team on the eve of Dussehra released a new poster, introducing Nani's new dimension as Vasu in addition to a motion poster set to composer Mickey J Meyer's catchy score. Nani is seen in a bearded avatar with a stylish hairdo amidst the backdrop of Goddess Durga.
Nani is extremely confident of the film and has even claimed in an interview that it'll very likely attract remake offers from other industries too. Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jishu Sen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Wadwa and Barun Chanda are cast in supporting roles in Shyam Singha Roy. Navin Nooli is editing the film for which Satyadev Janga has worked on the story. Cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, stunt director Ravi Varma and production designer Avinash Kolla are also part of the crew.
