What's the plot of Shukrana?
It's a story about Jeona, a simple village man. His unexpected death leaves his wife Veeran heartbroken and alone. She is pregnant, and now she has to navigate the challenges of raising a child on her own. Not only does she have to cope with the immense grief of losing Jeona, but she also has to face the judgments and scrutiny of society. As people look down on single mothers, Veeran is worried about how she will provide for her child and protect it from the world, as it's the only family she has left now.
The movie is all about Veeran’s thought journey in rural India, navigating new marriage proposals, alongside a tragedy that threatens to tear her and her child apart
