Shruti Haasan is someone who always tends to speak her mind. Be it her personal life, undergoing plastic surgery or battling hormonal issues, Shruti Haasan has always been vocal about everything. She had earlier opened up about her battle with PCOS and how she is trying to overcome the hormone issues. In a recent post on her photosharing app, Shruti dropped a video of her working out and penned a long note about her battle with PCOS.
In the note, she said that she has been battling PCOS and endometriosis and that it has been a tough battle with her hormonal imbalance. However, she added that though her body is not in perfect shape, her heart is and that she wants to let those happy hormones flow. Her note read, “Work out with me 🖤 I’ve been Facing some of the worst hormonal issues with my pcos and endometriosis - women know it’s a tough fight with imbalance and bloating and metabolic challenges - but instead of looking at it as a fight I choose to accept is as natural movement that my body goes through to do it’s best and I say Thankyou by eating right sleeping well and enjoying my work out - my body isn’t perfect right now but m heart is 💕 keep fit keep happy and let those happy hormones flow !!! I know o sound a tad preachy but it’s been such a journey to accept these challenges and not let them define me .. so ….! I’m so happy to share this with all of you (sic).”
Shruti had shared in a post last year that the constant comment about appearance and body weight are avoidable. She had even shared two pictures taken apart while battling her hormone issues. "I’m not one driven by other people’s opinions of me but the constant commenting and she’s too fat now she’s too thin is so avoidable. These two pictures have been taken three days apart. I’m sure there are women out there who relate to what I’m going to say. Most often I’m at the mercy of my hormones mentally and physically and over the years I work hard to try and have a healthy relationship with it. It isn’t easy. The pain isn’t easy the physical changes aren’t easy but what’s become easier to me is to share my journey (sic)," wrote the Salaar actress.
