Actor Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in the multilingual hit Salaar, has been concentrating on her singing career. While the actor-musician has been working on it, she recently crooned for a song under D Imman's composition, which the latter announced on social media.

The song is set to feature in the upcoming bilingual film titled Eleven, starring Telugu actor Naveen Chandra in the lead role.

Taking to social media to share the news, D Imman shared a picture from his recording studio and team, along with Shruti Haasan and wrote how he is glad to work with Shruti, while revealing the key details of the project. "Glad to rope in @shrutihaasan for yet another foot tapping track for bilingual “Eleven” project! Starring Naveen Chandra in the lead! Directed by Lokkesh Ajls! Produced by AR Entertainment- Ajmal Khan and Reyaa Hari!” he wrote.

The film, which is titled Eleven, will be a bilingual project and will have actor Naveen Chandra in the lead role. Naveen Chandra recently had the chance to prove his acting chops and donned several characters in his recent filmography, from an alcoholic husband in the Telugu film Month of Madhu to a ruthless cop in the Tamil hit film Jigarthanda DoubleX. Eleven will be directed by Lokkesh Ajls and backed by Ajmal Khan and Reyaa Hari under the banner AR Entertainment. The film will mark the debut of the director, who earlier assisted Sundar C. Eleven is billed as an investigative thriller and also stars Reyaa Hari as the female lead. The film’s cinematography is by Karthik Ashokan and editing is taken care of by Srikanth NB.

Shruti Haasan was last seen in the action-drama Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, alongside Prabhas and Prithiviraj Sukumaran. The film was directed by Prashanth Neel. She was also seen making a cameo appearance in Nani’s Hi Nanna On Tuesday, Kamal Haasan's production banner, Raaj Kamal Films International, announced a new project featuring Shruti Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While the company has not shared much information about the project, it is safe to assume that it's likely to be a music video.
