Shriya Pilgaonkar: All characters I portray in my upcoming projects are exciting, diverse

With multiple projects in hand, actress Shriya Pilgaonkar is having the best phase of her career. Over the last couple of months, she has been busy wrapping up the shooting of the second season of one of her most successful web series to date, The Broken News.

Alongside, she is all set for the upcoming multi-starrer film which has given her an opportunity to work with some of the most celebrated actors like Neena Gupta, Lara Dutta, and Mohit Raina, among others.

Sharing her enthusiasm, Shriya says that she is absolutely thrilled about both these upcoming projects - Ishq-e-nadaan and The Broken News Season 2.

"Each character I have portrayed this year has been exciting, different and allowed me to delve into diverse realms of storytelling. Madhu from "Taaza Khabar" was sassy and ambitious, while Radha from "The Broken News Season 2" is fiercely dedicated to fighting the war between news and fake stories," says Shriya Pilgaonkar

Sharing more details on the film Ishq-e-nadaan, in which she plays a young girl named Siya, the actress mentioned, "She is navigating relationships and the complexities of love and family dynamics."

The film Ishq-e-nadaan is directed by Avishek Ghosh, also starring Suhail Nayyar, Kanwaljeet Singh, Deepika Amin among many others. The film releases on JioCinema on July 14.
