Greetings to all our viewers on Hanuman Jayanti! Hanuman Jayanti is a Hindu festival that is celebrated to mark the birth of the Hindu deity, and one of the protagonists of the Ramayana, Hanuman. On this occasion, Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV have decided to air a special episode focusing on the childhood of Lord Hanuman.
In the most recent episode, Lord Hanuman and King Sugriva's army come face to face with Sampati, Jayatu's older brother. Sampati, known for his special eagle-like powers, helps Lord Hanuman and the army find the exact location of Goddess Sita, who is being held captive by the demon Ravana in Lanka. Lord Rama, determined to rescue her, sets out on the mission with his brother Laxmana, Hanuman, and Sugriva. In today's episode, a sneak peek video hints at Lord Hanuman discovering his hidden abilities. Jambvan, the bear king, shares his wisdom about Hanuman's powers. Created by Siddharth Kumar Tewary for Swastik Productions, the show explores the epic Ramayana. Actor Sujay Reu plays the role of Lord Rama, and actress Prachi Bansal portrays Goddess Sita.
Talking about the plot, let us tell you that the series follows Lord Rama's life, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, showcasing his resilience in challenging times and how his story inspires others. It also depicts Rama's difficult journey to rescue his wife, Sita (the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi), from the demon king Ravana, who had kidnapped her.
In October 2023, actor Nikitin Dheer returned to television after five years, taking on the role of Ravana. Aarav Chowdhary was cast as Dashratha, Nikhilesh Rathore as Bharata, and Samarthya Gupta as Shatrughna. Anandi Tripathi was chosen to play Kaushalya, Bhawna Aneja as Sumitra, and Shilpa Saklani as Kaikeyi. Neetu Pandey also joined the cast as Kaikasi.
