In the latest episode of Shrimad Ramayan, Lord Hanuman preps up to set on a critical voyage of his life. It is on this monumental journey that he will discover that he has an extraordinary ability to fly up high in the air supported by his unwavering faith and determination. Before commencing the journey, he swore to use this new magical skill for a noble cause: he would find and rescue the Goddess Sita, who was being kept as a slave in a remote town of the Lanka empire. With his heart aflame with righteousness and courage, Hanuman sets forth on his sacred mission, determined to fulfill his promise to Lord Rama and bring Sita back to safety.

Lord Hanuman learns about his ability to fly in the sky

This story of a great personality, Rama, reveals most of the challenges he faced and his unmatched ability to recover from them, which has been the source of motivation for many generations. It is during the series that we see Lord Rama's relentless pursuit to rescue Sita, who has been abducted by the formidable demon, Ravana. As the story unfolds, it captures the essence of devotion, courage, and unwavering faith, portraying the timeless tale of love, righteousness, and triumph of good over evil.

In the latest episode, we also saw the presence of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Together, they discuss in heaven about the journey of Lord Hanuman. Tarun Khanna, the actor who plays Lord Shiva in the series, explains to viewers why Lord Hanuman’s journey in Ramayana is addressed as ‘Sundar Kand’. Shiva said that during Hanuman’s childhood, Hanuman’s mother Queen Anjani playfully called Hanuman as Sundar. Not only this, but Hanuman’s journey is considered to be the most beautiful part of Ramayana. Beautiful in Hindi is termed as ‘Sundar’. Furthermore, Ashok Vatika (the place where Goddess Sita was kept captive) was located on ‘Sundar’ mountain. Ashok Vatika is the place where Lord Hanuman met Goddess Sita for the first time.
